Reporting to the Superintendent: Maintenance Engineering Australia, you will be responsible for contributing to the achievement of operational and strategic targets through the identification, coordination, and management of departmental projects, including the review and implementation of improved reliability and availability initiatives across existing infrastructure and equipment to ensure maximum return and long-term sustainability.

This is permanent position is offered on a 9 day fortnight roster at our Perth corporate office with regular site travel. For this role we will consider full-time, part-time or job share options.

About the role:

Contribute to the team to consistently achieve targets in alignment with legislative and site requirements.

Share and train others by providing technical expertise to ensure the maintenance department functions are adequately supported by coordinating all facets of reliability.

Review and analyse asset health dashboards, reports and work management metrics, develop quality reliability, and facilitate root cause analysis investigations.

Collaborate to continuous improvement projects in relation to asset management and reliability initiatives.

Develop strong networks with engineering and technical personnel, ensuring adequate transfer of knowledge and information within the team to ensure correct understanding and increased accuracy of reliability related project work.

Continually review and update maintenance strategies, asset management plans and standard jobs
About you:
You will have:

Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Extensive experience with either fixed or mobile mining maintenance environment for surface or underground mining.

Valid manual driver’s license

Demonstrated level of competency in relevant software applications including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP

Strong communication skills both written and verbal including writing technical reports
