We have been engaged to provide a senior civil engineer to scope out, engineer and deliver the best NPV options for some transportation projects within the mining sector. In the role you will consider different ways the client can solve their transport issues to enable them to optimise how they transfer their materials to port.
The role is based in Perth and can be considered on a contract or permanent basis to suit the successful individual.
The successful applicant will have an ability to solve problems intuitively and consider various options and client ideas to tailor the best outcome. They will have a strong background in civil engineering relating to transportation projects relevant to mining operations such as heavy haulage, rail and slurry pipelines.
The successful candidate will also have:
- A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering
- Strong communication skills with both clients and internal stakeholders
- A strong focus on quality and safety
- Sound software capabilities in relevant packages
- Strong workflow and time management capabilities
- A good attitude encouraging positive company culture
- The right to work in Australia
