Project and Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the team for the greenfield mining/rail project. The role will be based in Perth CBD, working from the client’s project office. This is a 12-month initial contract with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review engineering calculations to ensure all design plans and models adhere to relevant standards and project specifications
- Manage client-side interfaces and develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including reports, design specifications, and deliverables
- Guide the civil design team when needed
What Experience Do You Need?
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional experience in civil engineering, with a focus on the mining industry
- Strong background in detailed design work for infrastructure projects
- Proven experience with rail infrastructure projects, with heavy haul rail knowledge considered a plus
