We are excited to be expanding into the Queensland sector and have an opportunity for a Site Manager and Foreman to be a part of a unique and exciting organisation that values its people.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the purpose of the role is:
- Manage and deliver projects in line with project documentation, considering quality, health and safety requirements.
- Control a project on and off site, within time, quality and cost parameters.
- Managing site inductions for subcontractors and site employees
- Overall accountability for delivering assigned projects.
- Working to deadline, contract and project timeframes
- Maintaining quality relationships both internally and externally
- Managing the day-to-day site activity in accordance with the programme, Project Plan and in line with Degnan accredited systems.
- Manage performance, compliance and expectations of resources and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
- Ensure all project deliverables are of high quality prior to handover.
To be considered for this role you must have;
- Trade qualifications and/or building diploma.
- Proven experience managing a construction team and the ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver results related to time, cost and quality.
- Demonstrate that the safety and welfare of all personnel that enter your site is prioritised.
- Extensive Site Management experience and be able to have a verifiable track record with running projects within the infrastructure sector.
- You must be a forward thinker and have the ability to take charge and drive the job efficiently.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building trades, with strong technical planning and programming skills.
