Key Duties & Responsibilities
- On site management of Large Loss insurance projects.
- Work alongside Project Manager and Contract Administrator to provide excellent delivery of projects.
- Capable of managing multiple projects.
- Review, understand and deliver works in line with Scope of Works and/or plans.
- A working knowledge of the Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
- Engage, schedule and manage trades and suppliers during the repair process to ensure works completed ahead of schedule.
- Provide trades and suppliers with accurate and clear communication including an accurate construction schedule.
- Provide regular project updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders in line with KPI’s.
- Engage with multiple stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Review, monitor and ensure works completed in line with project budget, via regular cost reporting.
- Quality control of all works undertaken on site.
Key Selection Criteria
To apply for this position, would be vital to meet with following selected criteria to enable you succeed in this role but where needed we are happy to provide the adequate training and mentoring along the way.
- Experience supervising construction projects
- Carpentry/Building Trade qualified preferred
- QBCC Site Supervisor License and Construction White Card
- Insurance building experience highly regarded, however not essential
- Excellent interpersonal communication with customer service building and sustaining relationships
- Ability to manage multiple projects whilst maintaining competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to be empathetic to the needs of the client
- High work ethics – proactive nature and keen to work within highly successful, KPI driven team
- Computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Understanding of WHS practices, legislation, regulations & current market rates.
- Current motor vehicle licence
