We are seeking a passionate and experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our team in Erskine Park, NSW.
Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) is an integral and important function within our business as it sits at the core of everything we do.
The role will be responsible for providing HSEQ assistance and advice to our teams on the ground, collaborating with Site Operations Managers and team members to ensure health, safety, environment and quality risks are mitigated and drive continuous improvement in HSEQ performance.
This position is pivotal in providing day-to-day support for the plant operations team, maintaining certifications, and creating a positive and safe work culture. Occasional travel to Brisbane, and Newcastle will be required to support operations and ensure compliance across all sites.
Key areas of focus for this position include partnering with operations managers to implement requirements in accordance with legislation, audit protocols, injury management, ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO9001 and business needs to minimise non-compliance.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Foster and promote a positive HSEQ culture and safe working behaviours
- Provide HSEQ advice and support to site operational teams in both NSW and QLD
- Assist with implementation and continuous improvement of the HSEQ Management System
- Conduct HSEQ training including inductions for new starters
- Work with site teams to carry out HSEQ risk assessments, maintain risk registers and develop and implement SOPs
- Manage contractors and always ensure compliance to legislative requirements
- Support sites to conduct HSEQ incident investigations to determine root causes, contributing factors and corrective actions and communicate key learnings
- Coordinate and manage the Return to Work (RTW) process, ensuring timely and supportive reintegration of injured employees in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies
- Work with the Quality Manager to implement the quality SOPs by conducting the quality check/testing as required and maintain record
- Work with Environmental Manager to support Environmental requirements
About you:
- Tertiary qualification or minimum Certificate IV in WHS required
- Current and valid driver’s licence
- Working understanding of National Health, Safety and Environment legislation and quality audit processes
- WHS, QMS and EMS Management System experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Committed to driving cultural change within a large-scale manufacturing environment
