With a strong commitment to health and safety, they are currently seeking a driven HSEQ Advisor to join their dynamic team, focusing on engagement and improving safety culture on site.
About the Role
This role will be responsible for implementing Health and Safety policies across the site, engaging with site teams to ensure successful delivery, as well as providing training to upskill and improve safety culture. This role will also involve working closely with the Health and Safety Manager, reporting findings to help steer the direction of policy development, to ensure effective change.
Duties:
- Implement health, safety, environmental and quality policies on site, improving engagement with site teams, and safety culture
- Conducting site audits, inspections, and accident investigations, continually driving improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of HSEQ systems
- Answering technical Health and Safety related enquires, ensuring responsibilities and action plans are clear for everyone on site, providing training to support delivery, and upskill
- Collaborating with external regulatory bodies (e.g., SafeWork, EPA) to ensure compliance
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing or FMCG
- Experience implementing health and safety policies, in line with relevant legislative requirements
- CertIV in Health and Safety, or equivalent
- Ideally experience in gap analysis, and ability to provide practical and tangible solutions where required
- Experience establishing and maintain good working relationship at all levels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Visio
