Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) Supervisor to join their dynamic team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all their fitout projects adhere to the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality practices. This role is crucial in maintaining their reputation for delivering safe, compliant, and top-quality fitout projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSEQ management plans for fitout projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Provide HSEQ guidance and support to project teams and subcontractors.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
- Review and approve subcontractors' HSEQ documentation and practices.
- Monitor environmental impact and implement sustainable practices where possible.
- Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and ensure all permits and licenses are in place.
- Prepare and deliver HSEQ reports to senior management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar HSEQ role within the construction or fitout industry.
- Solid understanding of Australian HSEQ regulations and standards.
- Cert 4 in Safety
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in HSEQ management systems and software.
