QBuild is expanding! Join us for an exciting career opportunity as a temporary Executive Support Officer to provide a high level of administrative support to the Executive Director of Customers and Programs.
QBuild is a commercialised business unit of the Queensland Government. It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities.
About The Role
You will play a pivotal role in supporting QBuild's ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry by delivering outstanding administrative assistance to support the development, implementation, and management of various executive and administrative functions.
Duties And Skills Involved Manage and maintain executive support systems and office procedures, in order to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the office, including:
- research and the preparation of routine correspondence and actioning of emails
- diary management
- organising travel arrangements
- management of office equipment (e.g., repairs/replacements)
- managing records retention and disposal
- organise meetings as required, including the preparation of agendas and taking of minutes.
Undertaking research and analysis to support the role of the Executive Director, Customers and Programs, and to facilitate the objectives of QBuild.Liaise (on behalf of the Executive Director, Customers and Programs,) with senior executives internal and external to the Department.Support the coordination and preparation of correspondence and enquiries from ministerial and corporate entities to ensure the timeliness and quality of responses.Coordination and monitoring of reporting (including but not limited to):
- Briefing Notes
- Ministerial
- Business Cases/Submissions
- Business Planning
- HR Reporting
- Undertake strategic, complex, and sensitive or important projects as directed.
- Managing, updating, analysing, and reporting from databases, and maintain client files and client contact lists.
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Knowledge in the use of a business enterprise solution, e.g.: Ellipse
- Intermediate to Advance skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
