The Manager Program Coordination works collaboratively with the Director, Capital Delivery, leads a team, delivers projects themselves and works in partnership with a diverse range of partners and stakeholders to deliver a capital works program critical to the achievement of the Department’s goals.
You and your team will manage providers and work with business partners to deliver capital works programs and projects on time, on budget and according to specifications. You and your team will also provide accurate and timely reports on capital works programs and projects.

What You Will Be Doing
- Managing, monitoring and reporting on a range of complex capital works projects in an appropriate, professional, timely and effective manner.
- Developing, implementing and monitoring appropriate management plans, budgetary arrangements and quality system improvements for the successful completion of capital works program of works.
- Providing expert advice to Senior Executives on construction and contract management reporting, and advice and information to clients in defining capital works programs, facility needs, design briefs, and in developing planning strategies and solutions to achieve outcomes consistent with government priorities and policies on a program of works.
- Leading innovation and continuous improvement in program management strategy, policy and practice the communications and engagement information and reporting on it as required.
- Managing internal and external stakeholders, providers and contractors (including QBuild and external contractors) to deliver on time, within budget and according to specifications.
- Prepare complex reports, submissions, briefs, and correspondence in relation to governance and managing of the delivery of social led government home.
- Supporting and helping maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations.
