About The Role Of Junior Contracts Administrator
As a Junior Contract Administrator, you'll play a vital role in supporting the successful execution of our construction projects. This entry-level position is perfect for someone passionate about the construction industry and eager to build a career in contract administration.
You’ll work closely with the commercial and project teams, helping to manage key documentation, liaise with subcontractors, and track project progress. This role offers a great learning environment, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to be a part of exciting and diverse projects in the building space.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and managing contracts and related documentation
- Support the commercial team in tracking project budgets, schedules, and compliance
- Help maintain accurate records, including purchase orders, variations, and contract claims
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Assist in reviewing and processing progress claims, invoices, and variations
- Work closely with the project team to ensure all contract obligations are met
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Business, or related field (preferred but not essential)
- 2 + years experience in contract administration
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Eager to learn and develop skills in contract management and project coordination
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Defence experience desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn industry-specific software
