Infrastructure People have partnered with a national, multi-functional contractor working on a major water infrastructure project close to Townsville.
This role would be great for and M&E Graduate Engineer or Site Engineer with a keen interest in the water infrastructure space and working across M&E scopes.

Responsibilities of your new role will include:
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Work closely with design engineers to interpret and implement project designs.
- Oversee the procurement and delivery of materials required for pipeline construction.
- Monitor and supervise construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the construction work meets the specified standards.
- Work across a variety of scopes including M&E and Civil to improve your capabilities as an engineer.
Necessary qualifications to make this your next role;
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- A keen interest in becoming an expert across a range of multi-disciplined water infrastructure projects.
- Strong and demonstrated experience in managing subcontractors and suppliers for site works
- Strong and demonstrated experience in project compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and relevant specifications
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders
