The Role Of Project Coordinator
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team, focusing on both building and defence sector projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on dynamic projects, supporting our Project Manager and ensuring the smooth execution of project deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project planning, scheduling, and management from start to finish.
- Maintain and update schedules, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and variations.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to coordinate resources.
- Support reporting and provide updates to senior management.
- Monitor quality control and compliance with project specifications.
- Ensure effective communication and timely issue resolution with all stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Project Coordinator role, preferably in building or defence projects.
- Defence experience desirable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Procore, Aconex, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and industry best practice
