Key opportunity
We are now seeking a fulltime Construction Project Leader (CPL)/G&B Lineworker to join our expanding team based in Melbourne. This is a new role which has been created due to our organisations continued growth and as a result of being awarded new contracts. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring powerline infrastructure construction and maintenance projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
With the support of our operations management team and CPL's this dynamic role will involve;
- Management of construction projects with key clients
- Leadership & management of our highly skilled team of Lineworkers and Plant Operators
- Coordinating with clients, third party contractors and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Meeting & exceeding client expectations
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards
- Prepare and present project reports
Key skills required
- Ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects from start to finish
- Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate teams
- Excellent understanding of network and construction standards
- Highly motivated to achieve and deliver excellent outcomes
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organisational ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and resources efficiently

Key qualifications required
- Experience in project management within the powerline industry will be highly regarded
- Certificate III in ESI Power Systems Distribution Overhead
- ESI Worker (applicable to Victorian Applicants)
- Construction Industry White Card
- High Risk Licence EWP and Dogging
- Glove & Barrier qualification
- Victorian Lineworker registration
- A current MR or HR Driver’s Licence
