Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Assistant Development Manager (Land) at LPM Land in Melbourne, Victoria. The Assistant Development Manager will be responsible for tasks related to site development, land development, feasibility studies, budgeting, among other responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating and managing various stages of development projects, including feasibility studies, planning approvals, and construction activities.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, consultants, and local authorities to ensure project milestones are met.
- Support the preparation and analysis of project feasibilities, financial reports, and budgets to ensure projects remain financially viable.
- Track and report on project progress, identifying potential risks or delays, and proposing solutions to keep the project on schedule.
- Co-ordinate with consultants the preparation of design briefs and monitor during the design development process.
- Prepare and manage the financial performance of the project by closely monitoring its feasibility and budgets against set objectives and outcomes.
- Manage all aspects of project delivery including financial performance, reporting, budgeting, risk assessment, and cash flow management.
Requirements:
- Ideally, 3-5 years experience in Land Development and/or at least 1-2 years as an ADM.
- Candidates with engineering design and/or project management experience will also be considered.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Enthusiastic team player who doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty across the full project lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Tertiary qualifications in Property, Finance, Planning, Engineering or any other related field.
- Strong financial acumen, ideally well-versed in the use of Estate Master.
