Located in the South East (Clyde - Portsea) Metropolitan Suburbs we are looking for a Site Manager to oversee Greenfields residential projects.
This represents an awesome opportunity for a passionate and driven site manager who wants to develop their career.
As a Site Manager, you will deliver the dream of home ownership by managing the construction of single and double story houses in order to ensure the houses built are of a high quality workmanship and in accordance with the Australian Building Codes.
Responsibilities Include
- Daily site inspections
- A high standard of paperwork
- Onsite meetings
- Report on job progress, status, costs, inefficiencies and future programs
- Develop and maintain service provided by trades and suppliers
- Ensure quality construction standards are met
- Identify opportunities for reducing waste, extras and minimising errors
- Promote and maintain safe work protocols at all times
- Promote good work practises and quality control outcomes within trade base
What can you bring?
You will be an experienced Site Manager, Supervisor or Leading Hand who has a proven ability in interpreting building plans, engineers reports and specifications.
You Will Also Have
- Passion and enthusiasm about working in the building industry
- Diploma in Building and Construction or equivalent qualification
- IT Savvy, having used Microsoft suite and other programs
- An ability to develop professional relationships with trades
- Relentless when faced with targets and conflicting deadlines
- Excellent listening skills
