As they continue to grow, they are seeking a Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of civil infrastructure and urban development projects, ensuring that safety, environmental, and quality standards are upheld.
Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HSEQ Manager to oversee the health, safety, environment, and quality aspects of major civil infrastructure projects. Based in the Gold Coast, you will be responsible for driving compliance, fostering a safety-first culture, and ensuring that projects meet the highest standards of environmental sustainability and quality.
Role
As An HSEQ Manager, You Will
- Lead the development and implementation of HSEQ management systems
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards across all projects
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential risks and areas for improvement
- Provide leadership and training to project teams, fostering a strong safety culture
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to ensure HSEQ objectives are met
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
Requirements
- Proven experience in HSEQ management within the civil construction industry
- Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality legislation and best practices
- Ability to lead and mentor teams to achieve compliance and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
