What You’ll Do
As the Senior Facilities Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and operational management of all facilities-related activities across the assigned Woolworths group portfolio of stores. You will lead a diverse team of Facilities Managers, Technicians, proactive services teams and contractors of around 600 across the group.
- Lead the team to be proactive, responsive, and efficient in line with our Facilities Maintenance Strategy by fostering an environment of customer-first
- Take accountability for the growth and development of the team, ensuring the right capability is recruited and developed, development plans are in place and ongoing day to day management.
- Develop and execute a zone plan that aligns with the State and business
- Support the budget management to achieve agreed financial targets and have a positive zone P&L.
- Develop plans to support New Stores, Renewals, and Projects that impact your portfolio.
- Align work procedures with business energy-saving initiatives
- Work closely with Operations and Group Managers in your respective zones to understand their business objectives, drive results and support stores
What You’ll Bring
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Retail, Supermarket, or FMCG experience desirable.
- Experience managing and leading change and business initiatives.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed and multi site teams.
- Previous stakeholder management experience and ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Proven coaching and people leadership experience at scale, with the ability to motivate and develop others.
