About The Opportunity
The National Property Manager function is part of the PFD business and provides strategic advice to grow the trading businesses through the delivery of new facilities and optimisation of the existing network of some ~60 facilities nationally.
What you’ll do
Key Responsibilities Include
- Strategic Network Development: Create and execute short, medium, and long-term property strategies, including site selection, lease negotiations, and facility development plans.
- Lease Portfolio Optimization: Actively manage lease agreements, ensuring favourable terms and conditions while maintaining compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Property Development & Management: Oversee new construction projects, facility expansions, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring assets are optimized for long-term value.
- Financial & Administrative Oversight: Manage budgets, track expenditures, and handle day-to-day lease administration tasks to ensure efficient operations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, landlords, and external partners to achieve project goals and maintain positive relationships.
What You’ll Bring
- A degree in property with extensive experience in industrial/commercial property management and in-depth knowledge of the property market.
- Proven business acumen with strong financial and strategic planning capabilities.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, adept at managing multiple stakeholders and projects concurrently.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities, delivering tangible benefits.
- Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for innovation and a strong customer focus.
