With a strong reputation and steady flow of work, our client requires a leader to oversee their tendering team covering the following duties:
The Job
- Lead the charge for quality overall tendering and pricing activities coming into the business
- Risk-averse from initial concept design stage, value engineer solutions, and reduce project delays.
- Be a conduit between, Project, Operations, and Estimating teams to solve technical problems
- Be the final point of review for all tender submissions and bid proposals
- Negotiate contract terms directly with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Continuously refine processes, procedures, and technologies for successful outcomes
To be successful you will possess the following attributes:
- Excellent communication skills
- A natural desire to lead
- Possess previous track record managing estimating teams
- Experience pricing and writing bids for similar projects in the Australian market
