We are seeking an experienced Assistant Development Manager or Coordinator to join a multifarious property firm, thriving in the retail, residential and educational sectors. It's imperative that you have previous retail property experience, with a focus on tenancy engagement and coordination and a strong understanding of leasing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, design, and execution of property development projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies to identify potential development opportunities.
- Support the preparation of financial models, budgets, and forecasts for development projects.
- Liaise with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, presentations, and schedules.
- Assist in ensuring all projects comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
- Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and quality.
- Contribute ideas to enhance project efficiency, sustainability, and innovation.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Property Development, Real Estate, Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with property development software (e.g., CAD, Estate Master) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in property development and a desire to build a career in the industry.
