Due to continued growth, Londino Project Services is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager/Civil Engineer to join our team. Londino Project Services is a dynamic, forward-thinking project management services company, dedicated to delivering excellence in every project we undertake. With a proven track record of successful project outcomes, we specialise in providing comprehensive project management solutions tailored to meet our clients’ requirements. Proudly locally owned and operated, our small business offers various project management and technical services to the civil construction industry around Far North Queensland.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management - end to end management of civil construction projects.
- Tendering and Cost Estimation - prepare cost estimates, construction methodologies and other required documentation for internal and client tender submissions and proposals.
- Construction Management - Provide guidance and technical support to project teams, construction crews and subcontractors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements.
- Contract Management - Prepare, review, and negotiate contract documents and ensue compliance with contractual obligations for all parties.
- Client and Contractor Side Roles - Adapt to both client-side and contractor-side roles as required. Represent client interests in contractor-led projects, manage contractor performance and project progress in client-side roles and ensure transparent communication between all project parties. Act as client's representative in the role of Superintendent or Superintendent's representative for construction projects.
- General Responsibilities - Liaise with clients, government agencies and other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and codes. Contribute to business development activities and stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practice.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management.
- 7+ years of experience in the civil construction industry, with exposure to both client-side and contractor-side roles.
- RPEQ registration or chartered status is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated project management, construction management and contract management experience.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
- Car License.
