About This Role
Brunel are proud to partner with our client who are looking to add a Full Time, Permanent Site Manager to their team. This role has opened due to an increase in project load throughout the year and going into 2025.
This client are long standing in the QLD construction industry known for their work delivering complex Commercial and Industrial projects with average values ranging from $10m - $50m.
Responsibilities
You will lead and mentor the site team and trade partners, whilst working alongside the CA and Project Manager on mainly Education focused builds.
- Strategically planning and effectively managing the program.
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders while maintaining a high service quality.
- Lead and assist the team both on the tools and/or off the tools to meet project demands and timelines.
- Mitigating Risks with a solution-based approach.
- Reporting on Health & Safety, quality, cost control and budget.
- Meeting Key Performance Objectives of the project.
- Construction methodology and adherence to policies, procedures, relevant codes and acts for self and the team Sub-contractor management.
- Coach and mentor your team to deliver high quality outcomes to support the delivery of on time and on budget.
- Attend and lead site meeting and lead toolbox meetings.
Requirements
Requirements:
- QBCC Site Supervisor license (Preferred)
- 5 - 10+ years experience working as a Site Manager for a Main Contractor Builder or Developer (Required)
- Exposure managing Commercial Construction Projects from $10m+ (Preferably with experience delivering projects for the Department of Education)
- Trade qualified
- Understanding of construction processes, materials, and best practices
- Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in fast-paced settings.
