As a Contracts Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing contractual agreements within a dynamic project environment. You will ensure the effective execution of construction and service contracts while optimising key stakeholder relationships and ensuring compliance within industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, negotiate, and manage construction and service contracts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and addressing contract-related issues.
- Monitor and track contract performance, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Provide guidance on contract modifications, extensions, and terminations, ensuring alignment with the goals of the projects.
- Assist in developing procurement strategies to optimise supplier selection and performance, with a focus on equipment and services.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Law, or Supply Chain highly regarded.
- Proven experience in contract management within the mining sector particularly with construction and service contracts.
- Strong understanding of contract law and best practices, with specific experience in project environments.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with contract management software and tools
