PERSOLKELLY have partnered with an Energy Sector government based client is seeking to appoint a Engineer - Battery - BESS Systems Specialist to be based in Perth W.A. on a full-time Permanent basis.

Key Duties:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Power Asset Management Plan
- Manage the operational and engineering support of inverter-based assets.
- Optimising the performance and reliability of inverter-based technologies: batteries, solar farms, and wind farms
- Providing technical and engineering advice on inverter-based technologies.
- Lead incident and failure investigations
- Provide detailed technical engineering oversight of commissioning activities and complex maintenance activities.
What will make you stand out:
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Extensive technical knowledge and experience with inverter-based technologies: large scale solar farms, wind farms and utility scale BESS systems
- Experience in design, installation, commissioning and integration, operations, maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting, performance monitoring.
- Experience in asset management of inverter-based assets
- Experience with control systems
- Familiarity with power system technical requirements
