PERSOLKELLY have paternered with an Energy Sector government based client is seeking to appoint a Power Generation Asset Manager to be based in Perth W.A. on a full-time Permanent basis.

Key Duties:
- Lead the development and implementation of the Power Asset Management Plan.
- Optimise the performance and reliability of both traditional thermal power station assets and inverter-based technologies.
- Includes diesel and gas reciprocating engines, inverter-based technologies: batteries within both the power station and on the network, solar farms and wind farms.
- Ensure generation portfolio assets are built and maintained in line with agreed plans and standards.
- Manage relationships with service providers for the delivery of maintenance, fault and failure response and approved capital works projects and programs.
- Lead incident and failure investigations.
What will make you stand out:
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Demonstrated leadership of teams responsible for power generation assets (diesel and gas reciprocating engines, and inverter-based) across the whole asset life cycle.
- Areas include design, construction, commissioning and integration, operation and maintenance, fault finding and trouble shooting and performance monitoring.
- Proven engineering and technical skills in fault finding/trouble shooting of generation assets.
