TEN Recruitment have recently gained partnership with one of Perth’s leading, privately owned construction & fitout contractors, due to continued company growth they have asked us to recruit for an experienced
Site Supervisor.
Essential Criteria
- Qualified Carpenter, Cabinetmaker or hold another relevant Trade Certificate.
- 3+ years’ experience in a Site Supervisor position.
- Sound understanding of HSEQ infrastructure.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage subcontractors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Capable of working within a team environment as well as autonomously.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications.
- Excellent client liaison skills with the ability to communicate professionally with external stakeholders.
- Outstanding organisation skills.
- High attention to detail.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Conduct inductions for new subcontractors and site employees.
- Keep the Project Manager up to date with project progress and programme reports.
- Day-to-day management of subcontractors and site employees to optimise project results.
- Establish the site in coordination with all relevant WHS requirements and established workplace rules.
- Liaise with security personnel, safety representatives and the client to resolve any potential construction related issues.
- Additional HSE responsibilities such as workplace inspections, hazard/incident reports, permit issues, toolbox talks and safety observations.
- Ensure all scheduled works are completed within the given timeframe.
- Maintenance of relevant site documentation.
