About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Yard Technician to join our Jandakot Workshop Team on a casual basis. This position is ideal for someone on their university break who wants to gain valuable experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the successful candidate will assist in preparing equipment for mobilisation to our clients’ facilities and help with general maintenance of the yard.
Requirements & Experience Needed
- Background or degree in Mechanical or Electrical (highly desirable)
- Nationally recognised Construction Card
- Current Australian Driver’s license class C
- LF High Risk Forklift License – Use of high-reach forklifts (Desirable)
- Ability to work within a team environment while capable of working unsupervised
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Strong reading & writing skills
- Basic skills in Word/Excel/Office programs.
