TEN Recruitment are in partnership with a trusted home builder who have just secured a project to deliver 25 Town Houses for a larger development. We’re looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to manage the delivery of this development.
The Successful Candidate Must Have
- At least 5 years experience as a supervisor in the residential building industry
- Ideally have previous experience supervising developments
- The ability to deliver high quality homes from start to finish
- A solid understanding of relevant legislation including the Building Code of Australia and current Workplace and Safety requirements
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- The ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and contracts
- A keen eye for detail
- A network of trades and suppliers
- A great work ethic and can-do attitude.
Your Duties Will Include
- Oversee all site activity to ensure that company construction standards are consistently met and that construction progresses as quickly as possible.
- Maintain the orderly supply of materials to site to ensure acceptable levels of progress are achieved throughout the construction phase.
- Select and supervise closely the supply of trades and suppliers to site to a pre determined schedule of works as determined by the Construction Manager.
- Resolve construction issues and problems quickly and efficiently in consultation with the Construction Manager and/or client.
- Maintain the highest levels of tradesmanship across all trades areas on all sites.
- Maintain the highest levels of OH & S matters on all sites.
- Support company policy and procedures.
- Maintain documentation within the “supervisor’s file”.
- Constantly check all documentation is up to date in ‘supervisors file and with subbies.
Salary up to $125k plus super (DOE) & fully expensed company vehicle.
