UGL is an employer with a difference, jump on board and experience our incredible journey About the role The role of the Senior QA Completions Engineer will be responsible and accountable for the development and maintenance of an integrated document management system for the project; this will ensure the project complies with all policies and applicable legislation and recognized standards for the workplace direction from QA Completions Manager on the Major Project team in Melbourne. The role is also designed to include the following duties but not limited too: · Acquisition, recording, filing and distribution of relevant Australian and International Standards and Procedures · Planning for traceability of material and products · Control of nonconforming product or services · Corrective and preventative quality actions · Registration, filing, retrieval, disposition, and transmission of engineering documentation · Development of Completion & Handover LOT Management · Develop a work package framework aligned with the construction program/schedule · Lead development and communication of Hexagon utilized for Completions & Handover Oversee Asset Management Process/Framework · Develop Completions & Handover Scope & Boundary Process/Framework · Develop Completions & Handover Delivery Strategy · Establish and maintain a register of ITPs including any lot structure developed for the works · Delegate the preparation of ITPs to relevant project staff and subcontractors, as appropriate consultation with subject matter expert review and approve ITPs, including subcontractors ITPs, for completeness and forward to client for comment. Coordinate implementation of review comments and hold and witness points · Develop Work lot Mapping for East Bridges Hexagon/ Team binder and identify the relevant assets for each work lots - East bridges. · Based on the scope of work ensure construction documentation in plan such is ITP, ITR and procedures (CPR). · Review the ITP/ITR which was developed by UGL/Subcontractor. · Ensure vendor documentation reviewed and approved before commencement of work. · Ensure work lot are created in Team Binder and Raising the H/W Point Notification in Team binder. · Ensure work lot are created in Hexagon and ITP, ITR task has been allocated to the relevant work lots. · Control of non-conforming product and monitor the reporting of all SNCR/PNCR on System – Notify JV and , support the close out process with engineers. - Bridge (SNCR/PNCR). · Training the Engineers/ Supervisor/Subcontractor how to complete ITP/ITR in Hexagon. · Monitor the completion of ITP, ITR and punch list as work progress on site. · Notify and Coordinate Punch List work downs with JV – Bridge. · Perform weekly Quality Surveillance inspection on site. · Digitize UGL Construction ITP/ITR in Hexagon. · Conduit the Audits as per audit schedule, distribute the final audit report and record all action in Synergy system. About you · You will possess a recognised engineering qualification relevant to the position and have at least 12 years' experience in the overall management and co-ordination of quality assurance, compliance, and completion processes on large projects like the Project Works and Temporary Works. · Experience on Major infrastructure projects · 10+ years of relevant experience in Tunnel / Construction and Quality Assurance experience · Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite of programs · Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands WORK EXPERIENCE · Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
