Are you a Structural Engineer looking to take on new challenges? Our client is seeking an experienced engineer to join their construction engineering team. They are 100% employee-owned, with over 1000 staff worldwide. They offer civil and structural engineering services with an expertise in buildings, bridges, construction engineering, digital engineering, façades, flood management, rail, traffic and transport, water infrastructure, etc.
Position
- Join a growing team and contribute to the delivery of mid-large infrastructure projects.
- Contribute to the design and analysis of temporary works structures, such as formwork, shoring, propping, and scaffolding, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with multidiscipline teams and contractors to develop safe and efficient solutions.
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments with support from senior team members.
- Assist in producing detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and reports that adhere to industry regulations and company standards.
- Provide technical assistance to site teams, and work collaboratively to resolve design and implementation challenges.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will be/possess:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- 5+ years of post-graduate (local) experience in structural engineering, ideally within a consultancy or construction environment.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tedds) and familiarity with finite element analysis tools.
- Understanding of relevant industry standards and codes and temporary works guidelines such as AS 3610, AS/NZS 1576.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with colleagues and clients.
