Due to our current growth, we are seeking to appoint a Project Manager based out at our Eight Mile Plains office Brisbane.
Reporting to the Operations Director you will oversee project lifecycles from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction. This role is essential in managing cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and driving high-quality outcomes across various projects.
As a successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following:
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints
- Create detailed project plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, and timelines.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional team meetings to ensure all parties are aligned.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
- Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring all project expenses align with financial goals.
- Oversee quality control processes, ensuring all work complies with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Create and manage detailed project schedules, allocating resources and adjusting plans as needed.
What do you bring?
In addition to the above, we require an individual with;
- Minimum 10 years + experience managing construction projects within oil, gas & LNG projects internationally, preferable in Papua New Guinea
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline
- Leadershiphave successfully lead project teams, driving performance, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Strong knowledge in project management methodologies and best practices; including cost management and project controls.
- Ability to commit to traveling to Papua New Guinea - when required
