Great opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable civil contractor on projects such as earthworks, demolition, excavation, piling, retention, foundations etc.
Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for a Project Administrator / Document Controller to join their growing business.
Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of a number of challenging projects.
Types of projects include build earthworks, demolition, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation etc. Typical values from $2.5m to $25m but can go up to $50m+.
Years of experience:
1 to 3 years’ +
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Mostly will be general admin duties as required
- Proficient use of excel
- Support managing subcontract mechanisms
- Support conduct status reporting, project reports, risk and program reporting
- Assist with Forecasting
- Manage the document control process
- Liaising with all stakeholders
- Support when needed with compliance with management system policies, plans, procedures and regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
- 1 + years’ management experience on civil construction projects
- Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
- Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- High level of organisation and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
