About The Role
We currently have an excellent development opportunity for a Junior Building and Maintenance Manager to join our growing FM team and benefit from one-on-one support, training and mentoring.
Based on-site, you will work closely with the Senior Facilities Manager to coordinate the day-to-day operational management of a high-end CBD residential apartment complex.
This is a past paced, client facing role and the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Assisting the Facilities Manager with the building's operations, installations, facilities and systems
- Assisting with the management of all service contracts
- Undertaking regular building inspections and associated reporting
- Incident management
- Contractor inductions
- Ensuring all work carried out onsite is in accordance with OH&S Regulations.
- Reviewing building systems to maintain efficient energy consumption
- Ad hoc maintenance as required
About You
With a strong focus on customer relationships and service delivery, you are organised and able to work to deadlines. A trade qualification or maintenance background is highly desirable will set you apart from other applicants.
Additional skills and qualities that will ensure your success include:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds.
- Self-motivated and mature minded.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards, Building Codes and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Health Act.
