Your new role
We are searching for an energetic and ambitious Project Manager to join the team in Melbourne. The primary purpose of the Project Manager role is to lead the process of design and delivery of tasks and projects, provide support to the Senior Team and administer contracts to ensure performance targets are met and potential sources of risk are mitigated.
The Project Manager position is a critical delivery role which requires autonomous decision-making, problem-solving and highly developed organisation and communication skills.
Key Activities include but are not limited to:
- Identify and document potential risks to projects and develop effective control strategies to minimise risk;
- Understand the relevant project specifications, drawings and manage all compliance and quality requirements;
- Process progress claims in an accurate and timely manner; and
- Compile contract documentation and coordinate subsequent processes associated with the execution of the contract;
- Ensure the processing of payments and variations is completed in line with company standards;
- Ensure that project forecasts & cash flow statements are assessed and maintained;
- Liaise with contractors and all appropriate consultants and authorities to ensure that contract and project delivery requirements are being met;
- Manage and set content requirements for project meetings including design meetings, site meetings and PCG meetings;
- Lead the engagement and management of design consultants; and
- Ensure the designs meet the projects functional requirements.
What you bring
The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture or similar with a demonstrated depth of over 5 years’ experience in the project and development management space. A minimum of 3 of those years must be working for a project management consultancy. You will have strong experience operating in dynamic teams and will ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of project outcomes and exceptional experiences for each and every stakeholder.
