The Company
This builder is a household name, with a stack of building awards and strong likeability factor. Known for delivering architectural high-end homes around Melbourne's inner suburbs, they have an engaged team and reward their employees well across multiple fronts. Due to a healthy pipeline of upcoming work they require an additional Project Manager to come onboard - managing multiple projects from contract stage to delivery/handover. Within this role you will be working closely with the client, as well as the internal and site teams, playing a vital role in the process and facilitating everything necessary to make the result possible.
What You'll Be Doing
Your main responsibilities within this role are to:
- Manage each project from contract signing to delivery
- Ensure a seamless client experience throughout the build
- Understand technical site activity & communicate effectively to clients
- Proactively monitor & contribute to strong QA & OHS project compliance
- Raise Purchase Orders & Approve invoices
- Record & communicate completions, consult internally & drive progress
- Attend and proactively manage various meetings
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years experience Project Managing home builds $2M+ (Essential)
- Proven history of managing multiple high-end builds simultaneously
- Excellent understanding of building codes & tolerances
- Strong & proactive communication skills (written & spoken)
- Ability to work within a busy team and across departments
- Understanding of the Luxury home building cycle, industry & client needs
- Strong PC skills (including MS Office & Building Management Software)
- A proactive and engaging attitude that can multitask
- Confidence & the ability to make clients comfortable
- Valid Driver’s License & Full Working Rights within Australia
