Role Overview
As a Project Scheduler, youβll play a vital role in developing and maintaining project schedules for high-impact initiatives within Infrastructure and Operations. This role involves close engagement with stakeholders across workstreams to capture dependencies, set achievable milestones, and support on-time delivery. Your scheduling expertise will keep project objectives on track and aligned with broader program goals.
Key Responsibilities

Develop Integrated Project Schedules for a range of initiatives, ensuring detailed sequencing of tasks and dependencies.
- π€ Collaborate with Cross-Functional Stakeholders to design, update, and optimise schedules while proactively managing dependencies and potential conflicts.
- π Monitor Milestones and Dependencies, making necessary adjustments to keep the project on schedule and aligned with program objectives.
- π Assist with Reporting Cycles by providing accurate status updates and tracking progress against deliverables and milestones.
- π Identify and Resolve Scheduling Issues, including risk management and contingency planning to ensure project timelines are met.
- π Conduct Schedule Analysis and prepare reports, with actionable recommendations for optimisation and risk mitigation.
- π Contribute to Continuous Improvement by implementing best practices in scheduling and enhancing team collaboration.
- π Provide Scheduling Expertise to stakeholders, supporting their understanding of effective scheduling tools and methodologies.
Candidate Selection Criteria
Mandatory

Minimum of 3 yearsβ experience in scheduling for large-scale projects/programs, including the development of integrated schedules.

Proven ability to capture dependencies and set realistic, achievable milestones.
- β
Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
Weighted
- β Ability to work independently under broad direction and provide strategic scheduling support for complex projects.
- β Knowledge of Services Australiaβs project management methodologies and frameworks.
- β Strong stakeholder management and adaptability to changing priorities.
- β Proficiency in risk management, with experience in identifying and mitigating scheduling conflicts.
Security Requirements
π Baseline Security Clearance: Required for this role. Applicants must meet AGSVA criteria, including Australian citizenship and passing relevant background checks.
