The Opportunity:
KBR is seeking a Project Scheduler to join our Aerospace MSP Program. This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Project Scheduler to join a supportive team of professionals in a defence environment.
As the Project Scheduler, you will work alongside other experienced project managers and stakeholders to ensures the development and completion of the project progress and milestones through scheduling.
Key responsibilities will include, forecasting, performing scheduling analysis and identifying project development needs. You will also be required to use your experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes.
You will partner with stakeholders to provide advice whilst contributing to the proactive development of the project by implementing and communicating initiatives.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking work autonomy, and the ability contribute to meaningful projects.
Responsibilities:
- Revise and update where necessary the Open Plan Professional (OPP) Project and Contract Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) so that they are in-line with appropriate industry standards including DEF (AUST) 5664
- Assist in the development and maintenance of CASG project Schedule across multiple Projects.
- Assist in the development of integrated schedule data, including inputs to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using common data definitions and standards.
- Preparation of schedule reports (including cartoon schedules) for estimates (bi-annually) and reporting meetings (PPRIP; HoG; Project Performance Review; and MPGR monthly meetings).
- Identification of potential risks, issues and opportunities in regard to project schedules
- Mentoring advice and assistance to CASG project management personnel in relation to the use of current industry best practice schedule tools and project schedule reporting methodologies.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
- Demonstrated competence and experience in using the Open Plan Professional (OPP) tool (Essential);
- Experience developing, maintaining and reporting schedules (Essential);
- Experience with CASG schedules (Desirable);
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate an ability to meet demanding milestones (Desirable);
All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Negative Vetting 1 Defence Security Clearance.
