An exciting opportunity exists for a Principal Project Manager on an ongoing basis to deliver Australia's largest ever urban renewal project
THE ROLE
The Planning Manager will work in a collaborative and innovative team providing advice on and managing the strategic approach to statutory planning for the High-rise Redevelopment Program, Australia's largest urban renewal project.
The Planning Manager will provide proactive and authoritative statutory planning advice to support delivery of projects through business case, procurement and delivery phases of the investment lifecycle and establish statutory planning strategies for the program pipeline.
Are You
- An expert in strategic and statutory planning and its application to residential and mixed-use developments, with an interest in the delivery of social and affordable housing projects?
- Highly experienced with demonstrated experience in managing strategic and statutory planning processes and State and local government statutory agencies?
- Experienced in collaborating in a multidisciplinary team to delivery outcomes on highly complex, large-scale developments within a complex stakeholder environment and specified timeframes?
- Experience in mixed use residential development projects, ideally within the social housing context
- A commercially oriented problem solver who can analyse complex issues from different perspectives?
Accountabilities Include
- Provide expert statutory planning advice and support on complex planning matters to facilitate the delivery of housing development over the project lifecycle including feasibility and scope definition, tender requirements, tender evaluation, contract documentation, approvals and delivery. - Establish the planning framework for High-rise Redevelopment Projects including the design and implementation of guidelines and processes that increase certainty for stakeholders and mitigate program risk to facilitate viable planning outcomes.
- Provide high level technical land use planning expertise to inform the pre-delivery planning of complex projects and provide authoritative advice and support to High-rise Redevelopment Projects in procurement and delivery.
