scouted. are working with a construction company to find an Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic, young, and motivated group. Working closely with the Accounts Manager, this person will play a crucial part in maintaining financial records and contributing to the company's overall financial health. This company is open to this employee working on a full-time or part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payments promptly
- Data entry, filing invoices as per naming convention and creating weekly reports
- Assisting the Accounts Manager to support financial planning and budgeting
- Work closely with other departments of the company to resolve financial discrepancies and support operational needs
- Assist in implementing improvements to streamline accounting and payroll processes
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in an accounts role (in a team setting)
- Experience with payroll software/procedures (Employment Hero), accounting software (Xero), and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
- A proactive, self-motivated, initiative-taking, and patient individual
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication - able to work in a fast-paced environment
