The Role
Operating out of our upgraded North Geelong office, our Foreman will manage and coordinate their projects with efficiency while ensuring ongoing site safety and team upskilling opportunities to grow our workforce – the right way.
Your Every Day
- Ensure detailed commercial site records are kept in accordance with Symal Contractors standards including, but not limited to, daily running sheets, day works sheets, and variation instructions
- Have a detailed understanding of Symal Contractors subcontractors’ and suppliers’ scope and contract conditions
- Understand the Client’s challenges and workshop solutions that are best for the project
- Deliver projects safely in accordance with the Client's systems and the Symal Contractors safety program
- Manage, train, and mentor Leading Hands and the labour force in all their responsibilities as per their position descriptions
Who are you?
- A proven track record in delivering projects and leading teams with a successful outcome
- Relevant experience in delivering projects greater than $5 million and leading large teams under a range of contract models
- Have a sound understanding of relevant legislation including EBAs and Awards
- 7+ years relevant construction experience
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence
