Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct
Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

Purpose of the Role:
Supervise the site installation activities and provide required coordination between Electromechanical and the civil works
Qualifications:
- Tertiary Qualifications or related discipline such as, High school diploma, technical school or college credits preferred.
- White Card
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the Electrical installation and testing and commissioning at site in a similar role
- Solid experience of project site management capability and working to deadlines and in a contracting environment.
- Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Required Competencies:
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards, including knowledge of installation, and testing and commissioning practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- In-depth understanding of project planning and management in construction industry

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Support EM Engineers and Civil Construction Managers in all aspects of operations and job fulfillment
- Identify opportunities for improvement at site and in daily operation
- Works collaboratively with other trade surveyors to gather quantities, measurements, information, as needed and directed
- Keep accurate, organized and complete field notes
- Communicate with EM Site Engineers and EM Subcontractor’s staff on daily basis
- Ensure that crews comply daily with FGJV and client specific safety guidelines and provide required safety documentation and records
- Review meetings to monitor progress of various projects
- Regularly perform field safety audits, jobsite inspections, and develop site safety/logistics plans
- Ensures proper paperwork has been submitted
- Supervises interfaces between EM Subcontractor and FGJV Construction & Plant team including utility workers, facility operators, and contractors.
- Maintains databases which track and support operations
- Partners closely with the area engineering department to ensure construction projects within the area of responsibility meet company specifications and are properly documented and completed in accordance with established timelines
- Maintains close surveillance over site operations while performing company work to ensure proper use of manpower, skills, equipment and facilities.
- Supervise electrical installations and ensure compliance with project specifications, and safety regulations.
- Support the electrical site engineers in leading and coordinating the activities of electrical teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among workers.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical work to ensure high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols.
- Support the electrical site engineers in developing and maintaining work schedules, ensuring timely completion of electrical tasks within the project timeline.
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment necessary for electrical installations, ensuring they are available and in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including daily reports, and progress updates.
- Work closely with other supervisors, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure coordinated efforts across different trades.
- Ensure safety measures and protocols to create a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
- Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the electrical installation process.
