The Role
With continued sustainable growth, they are looking to expand the team with a newly created and amazing opportunity for an experienced Junior Estimator to join them.
This role will be best suited to a talented graduate with a few years’ experience as an Estimator and someone with strong capability and initiative, who is committed to produce the highest quality output as its essential in a small and busy team.

Key Responsibilities
This position will report to the Directors and is required to support the business to manage the estimating for all contracts and projects and perform the following responsibilities.
- Schedule and manage all tender requests as required
- Ensure tenders and estimates meet company target margins
- Submitting tenders within agreed time frames and deadlines
- Follow up all tender submissions with stakeholders for technical support
- Confident communicator and ability to effectively liaise with other staff, clients, suppliers and sub-contractors
- Extract and interpret key data and information quickly and accurately from plans, specifications and contract documentation
- Proactively communicate with sub-contract and materials suppliers request for pricing
- Capable and willing to hold yourself accountable to key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Liaise with the Directors for handover services and production programs when a contract/project is secured
- Being a key member in the growth and development of a growing player in the industry
- Be willing to undertake any relevant training to up skill where necessary
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you will be able to demonstrate your ability and aptitude in the following key criteria:
- Minimum 3 - 4 years’ experience in an Estimating or related role
- Relevant qualifications to perform the role professionally.
- Highly commercial, numerate and with an analytical aptitude and ability to identify appropriate value added or value engineering opportunities
- Highly competent in using the relevant computer programs, Excel (advanced user) and MS Word
- Any additional experience in contract management will be highly regarded
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work on multiple activities as part of an agile team.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills and great time management as you will often be working to tight timeframes.
