Job Purpose:
As a Projects Coordinator, you will work closely with the Technical Services Manager to develop and deliver project proposals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will also manage the day-to-day coordination of projects, including scheduling, budget monitoring, and ensuring project deliverables meet client expectations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Technical Services Manager to prepare detailed project proposals
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules to ensure on-time execution and delivery
- Track commercial values and ensure accurate financial reporting for each project
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth project progress
- Oversee project documentation, ensuring work packs are ready for execution
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring any issues are promptly addressed
- Assist in the procurement of necessary materials and resources for project execution
- Provide regular status updates to management on project timelines and any deviations from scope
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
- Facilitate regular project meetings to review progress, tackle challenges, and align on next steps
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within scope
- Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Coordinate the resolution of any project-related issues, escalating to management as needed
- Keep all project documentation up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
- Mechanical trade certificate or suitable qualifications in project management
- Experience with fluid power systems is highly desirable
- Proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in an engineering, technical or maintenance environment
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Financial acumen, with experience in tracking project costs
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
