The EPC Project Manager at Flow Power will lead project management of our large-scale and utility scale energy projects to execute on our portfolio and pipeline goals for generation projects. These are primarily the medium-size 5mW solar farm projects, but also includes some bigger pipeline projects such as the Bennetts Creek BESS project that is moving past the financial close phase by end of 2024.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end project management of our large-scale and utility-scale energy projects, from late-stage development through to handover to operations and close out of the EPC contract
- Support the contracting process, including tenders and early works packages
- Support the financial close process for new projects
- Monthly reporting on project budgets, scheduled activities on site, and site performance metrics
- Appropriate safety management and documentation, particularly in the construction phase.
Qualifications
- Degree in related technical field (Project Management, Construction Management, or Engineering fields – Electrical, Civil, Renewable)
- Demonstrated capability in EPC project management, ideally on development projects within the energy sector or similar
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Energy & Renewable sector, ideally with design, construction, and operations knowledge of commercial and utility-scale energy projects
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant engineering Australian Standards (ie AS3000, AS3008, AS4777, AS5033, AS1170.2)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
