DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS:
Dream Design Building is dedicated to turning dreams into reality by providing high-quality custom home building services. With over 20 years of experience, we pride ourselves on our client-focused approach and commitment to excellence. At present we need a Construction Project Manager.
As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee all stages of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with architects, clients, and subcontractors to deliver exceptional results.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning & Management
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.
Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate communication between all stakeholders including subcontractors, suppliers, and team members.
Quality Control
- Ensure all construction work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and quality of work.
Resource Management
- Allocate resources effectively and efficiently, managing labor, materials, and equipment.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
Risk Management
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Address any issues or disputes that arise in a timely manner.
Key experience requirements for this role:
1. Experience as a Construction Project Manager in the construction industry
2. Experience in contracts administration
3. Strong communication skills to liaise with all stakeholders including clients, consultants and the team
4. Be a team player but also have the right leadership qualities to get the best out of your team.
5. Experience in Cost control, monitoring and reporting
Appropriate candidate must have the following skills, education and experience:
Education: Bachelor Degree or Higher Degree in related field
Australian Experience: At least 3 + years of Australian Experience OR
Overseas Experience: At least 3+ years of Overseas Experience
Specialist: Construction Project Management
Work Rights: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or Full Work Rights Holder
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
