We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee our concrete plants in Southern and Western NSW. This role is pivotal in driving the transformation of our operations to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Your day will involve:
- Oversee the daily operations of over 25 concrete plants, implementing best practices to streamline processes and optimize production and delivery.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of plant managers and staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Monitor plant performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of the region.
