The Role
Under the direction of the Assistant Director Recruitment, the APS 6 Establishment and Compliance Manager is responsible for a range of human resources activities including the creation of positions, circulating position reports, contract and people data management and Working with Children Check compliance.

Duties
- Responsible for the position management in Human Resources Management Information System (HRMIS).
- Responsible to register, action and distribute all incoming establishment variation requesting. Tasks include:
- Creating approved/budgeted position in HRMIS
- Amending the terms of a position
- Work Pattern Changes.
- Responsible for maintaining staffing establishment, including providing fortnightly updates to Frontline Service Directors for their cluster of hostels.
- Responsible for maintaining and distributing Organisation Chart (Org Chart). To be published on intranet, distributed to Executive and stakeholder groups.
- Review current internal processes to Identify and develop improvements to current processes and procedures in place.
- Accurately maintain employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) records in HRMIS, including coordinating monthly audits and provide reporting data monthly. Assist in other HR relating reporting where required.
- Provide support with HRMIS project team with the integration on the new HRMIS system.
- Undertake HR reporting tasks to support internal and legislative reporting requirements. Tasks may include ad-hoc reporting, completion of ABS Surveys, preparation of Workers' Compensation premium estimates and actuals, and data input for the Annual Report etc.
Do You Have?
- Demonstrated ability to support outcomes for First Nations peoples and the demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with First Nations peoples.
- Relevant experience working as an Establishment Officer/ Workforce Report Analyst or similar
- Proficient in Excel with strong administrative skills and experience with HR related systems.
- Ability to organise your work independently, manage competing priorities and complete tasks within set timeframes
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
