About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Short-Term Planner to join our team at Paraburdoo to help us excel at safely maintaining our fixed plant assets through effective preparation and delivery of maintenance schedules.

Reporting to the Superintendent planner and working in a dynamic and exciting environment you will be responsible for:

Detailed planning of preventative and corrective maintenance activities in SAP ensuring the right work, is being planned at the right time, with the required materials and resources for safe and effective completion.

Prioritising maintenance activities with Supervisors, Superintendents, and external departments, utilising your considerable stakeholder and relationship building skills

Engaging and participating in Weekly Review sessions with peers and stakeholders to identify continuous improvement opportunities for your area of responsibilities.

Woking collaboratively to develop and refine the scheduled outage forecast for the site to optimise and manage business impact

Ability to think outside the box and safely mitigate risks of shutdown overruns.

Collaborate with your Long Term Planner to develop a Zero Based Budget for your area and use cost control methods to effectively manage material and labour spend.

Work closely with a variety of stakeholders across the organisation to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure there is effective communication of the plans to ensure appropriate risk management strategies are in place
What you’ll bring

A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

Proven experience using SAP or similar CMMS

Experience with executing, scheduling, or planning the maintenance activities

Knowledge in Microsoft Office

Current Australian C Class Driver’s License

Exceptional communication & collaboration skills

Able to be proactive, flexible, and work independently

Highly organised individual with great record keeping

Strong stakeholder engagement skills

Complex problem-solving skills and able to deliver solutions
