About the role
We are looking for a Superintendent Plant Shutdown to join our Fixed Plant team at our Paraburdoo operations. Your role will ensure the team is set up for success against business priorities and the seamless safe delivery of operational activities. You will be supported in your efforts in continually seeking to improve our processes, cost efficiency and productive capability across the operation.
You’ll be part of a friendly and motivated team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You’ll work on a 5 days on, 2 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off roster either residentially in Paraburdoo or Fly in, Fly out from Perth. These opportunities will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.

Reporting to the Manager Fixed Plant, you will be:

Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices and processes, whilst providing leadership, development and support

Actively engaging and influencing the wider maintenance and operations teams to improve the site’s safety, cost and production outcomes.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities

Widely engage and interface at all levels from general manager to supervisor level
-
Partnering with contractors on a regular basis for the shutdown schedule and logistics
-
Shaping new ways of working with digital tools to optimise the planning, scheduling and execution in near real-time
-
Input into strategies to get more operating time out of the asset through reliability centred maintenance

A Current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver's Licence (Manual)

Where you will be working
Located 80km south west of Tom Price, Paraburdoo is a town nestled in some of the most scenic landscape in Western Australia. Paraburdoo is recognised for its beautiful scenery, wildlife diversity and close proximity to Karijini National Park. Paraburdoo prides itself on being a safe and friendly community; ideal for young families.
The picturesque town provides residents with a range of leisure facilities and local amenities including a domestic airport, hospital, community centre, child care centre, primary school, parks and a variety of sporting facilities. The recently built Paraburdoo Sports, Fitness and Community Complex offers state of the art facilities including an Olympic-size swimming pool, indoor basketball court and gym.
